Introduction</h1>
<p>This C++ library provides BUFR and CREX encoding and decoding functions, supported by functions to manage weather bulletin variables. See <a class="el" href="features.html">Library features</a> for a list of features.</p>
<p>The infrastructure for working with variable is based on <a class="el" href="classwreport_1_1Var.html" title="A physical variable. ">wreport::Var</a> variables (see <a class="el" href="var_8h_source.html">var.h</a>) that are described by <a class="el" href="namespacewreport.html#acfcbb1367ca9f4166d76f13fbd910be7" title="Varinfo reference. ">wreport::Varinfo</a> structures (see <a class="el" href="varinfo_8h.html">varinfo.h</a>) that can be created on the fly or read from on-disk tables (see <a class="el" href="vartable_8h_source.html">vartable.h</a>).</p>
<p>All variables are annotated with information including significant digits and measurement units, and unit conversions (see <a class="el" href="conv_8h.html">conv.h</a>) are performed when needed.</p>
<p>Weather bulletins (see <a class="el" href="bulletin_8h_source.html">bulletin.h</a>) can be decoded and encoded in WMO FM 94 BUFR and WMO FM 95 CREX formats.</p>
<p>Error handling is done via exceptions. wreport has its own lightweight exception tree (see <a class="el" href="error_8h.html">error.h</a>) with a common root on <a class="el" href="structwreport_1_1error.html" title="Base class for DB-All.e exceptions. ">wreport::error</a>, which in turn descends from std::exception, meaning error handling works as expected..</p>
<p>For coding style, see <a class="el" href="style.html">Coding style</a>. </p>
