<h4 class="subsection">8.2.6 Abortion and Termination</h4>
<p>If a construct containing a remote call is aborted, the remote
subprogram call is cancelled. Whether the execution of the remote
subprogram is immediately aborted as a result of the cancellation is
implementation defined.

<p>An active partition terminates when its environment task terminates. In
other terms, a partition cannot terminate before the Ada program itself
terminates. The standard termination mechanism applies, but can be
extended with extra rules (see <a href="Partition-Attribute-Termination.html#Partition-Attribute-Termination">Partition Attribute Termination</a> for
examples).
