Because they are only considered to be useful for deborphan's frontends,
these options are not documented in its man page and do not occur in its
--help output.
The frontend-specific option available since deborphan 1.7.28, i.e.,
Debian Squeeze (6.0) or later and Ubuntu Lucid (10.04 LTS) or later, is:
--show-deps-pristine
This option is currently an alias for -d or --show-deps.
Frontends should use --show-deps-pristine instead of --show-deps
since the output format of --show-deps might change in future.
If --show-deps or instead --show-deps-pristine is used does not
influence printing of architecture suffixes, see --show-arch and
--no-show-arch in this file if you wish to do so.
The frontend-specific options available since deborphan 1.7.28.2, i.e.,
Debian Squeeze (6.0) or later and Ubuntu Natty (11.04) or later, are:
--all-packages-pristine
This option is currently an alias for -a or --all-packages.
Using --all-packages implies --show-section, but this implication
might be removed in future. The option --all-packages-pristine
will always imply --show-section.
An alternative to using --all-packages-pristine is to explicitly
specify --show-section or --no-show-section after --all-packages;
if you don't see an advantage regarding software testing in using
--all-packages-pristine, then the above described alternative will
work as good for you.
--check-options
Check if an other given option is implemented by deborphan and
exit with status 0 if it is implemented.
The exit code returned by deborphan if the tested option is not
implemented is not 0, but not further specified yet. The option
--check-options might cause any output to stdout or to stderr,
this output should be ignored. Currently only testing one option
at a time is officially supported and --check-options must be
deborphan's first argument.
To test if the option --foo-bar is implemented run the command
below and check its exit status:
deborphan --check-options --foo-bar >/dev/null 2>&1
--print-guess-list
Print all available --guess-* options, except of 'all' and 'only'.
The leading '--guess-' is removed from the output.
The output is _not_ guaranteed to be sorted alphabetically.
The frontend-specific options available since deborphan 1.7.28.7, i.e.,
Debian Wheezy (7.0) or later and Ubuntu Quantal (12.10) or later, are:
--show-arch
Always print packages with architecture suffix, e.g., print
'apt:amd64' and not 'apt'
The output of --list-keep is not influenced by this option.
--no-show-arch
Never print packages with architecture suffix, e.g., print 'apt'
and not 'apt:amd64'.
The output of --list-keep is not influenced by this option.
